The 3+2 Bachelor's to Master's program lets you earn, with only one additional year of study beyond your BSc in Electrical Engineering from Ajman University, a master's degree from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, a top US university. Rutgers sits between New York City and Philadelphia, close to major US computing, telecommunications, and software industries.

How it works

By the spring semester of your third year at AU, you can apply for admission to the AU-Rutgers 3+2 Program in Electrical Engineering. Once selected, you spend the fourth and fifth years of your studies in the USA. The program currently applies only to students in the Electronics and Communication concentration at AU.

By the end of the fourth year, having completed the approved set of courses, you are awarded the Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Ajman University. By the end of the fifth year, upon successful completion of coursework, you are awarded the Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Rutgers University.

If you are in your third year of the Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, in the Electronics and Communication concentration at Ajman University, with a GPA of no less than 3.0, you can submit your application no later than the beginning of the spring semester to be considered for admission.
