AU partners with a wide range of exemplary international academic institutions worldwide.

All international agreements are initiated by the Office of International Academic Affairs (OIAA) or an AU faculty member. If we do not yet have a formal partnership with your institution and you would like to propose one, email us at international@ajman.ac.ae to start the conversation. Once we have discussed potential activities together, we can begin the process toward a formal agreement.

We are always glad to welcome partners and colleagues from international institutions to discuss collaboration opportunities. To arrange a visit for your delegation, complete the AU Campus Visit Form. Please submit visit requests at least two weeks before the planned date.

Faculty Exchange Program

The Faculty Exchange Program is part of AU's ongoing effort to grow its international network and support collaborative research. The program aims to:

  • Strengthen AU's international reputation as an active academic institution committed to the continuous development of its faculty and students
  • Help AU faculty gain experience in different academic environments through the Outbound Exchange Program, benefiting both the faculty member and the University
  • Host visiting experts within AU's departments for one or two semesters through the Inbound Exchange Program, enriching research, teaching, and graduate supervision
