Internships & Traineeships

We welcome undergraduate students from their third year onward, graduate students, and recent graduates, with a minimum CGPA of 3.5 or equivalent. If your university uses a different grading scale, please include a CGPA conversion table with your application so we can map it to a 4.0 scale.

Placements run from 1 to 12 months, with flexible start dates throughout the year.

Placements are unpaid. Ajman University does not provide any salary, stipend, or financial support, and does not cover housing, travel, or living costs. Many trainees fund their stay through their home university or an Erasmus+ traineeship grant.

Yes. You may choose to fund your placement through your home university or through Erasmus+. For Erasmus+, this is treated as an Erasmus+ traineeship, and the traineeship agreement is completed once you have been accepted to your placement. Let us know your funding plan early so we can support the paperwork.

Most international trainees need an entry permit to come to the UAE. Once you are accepted, the OIAA guides you through the visa process step by step.

Housing is not included or paid for as part of the placement. Paid on-campus residence may be available subject to availability, and the OIAA can share both on-campus and off-campus housing options once you are accepted.

Yes. On successful completion, you receive a certificate confirming your internship or traineeship at Ajman University.
