The University of Applied Sciences Jena was founded in 1991, making it one of the first in the new federal states. For several years, it has not only been Thuringia's largest, but also the most research-intensive university for applied sciences. Currently having around 4,500 young people studying at EAH Jena University of Applied Sciences.
The range of courses offered by the University of Applied Sciences Jena focuses on the fields of technology, economics, social affairs, and health and is characterized by a high degree of practical relevance.
