Ajman University was proudly represented at the Future Talent Council Summit, held at the New York University Abu Dhabi campus, bringing together university leaders, industry experts, HR innovators, and people-development specialists from leading global organisations to explore the future of work and the skills needed to thrive in an AI-driven world. Mrs. Victoria Winter, Director of the Office of International Academic Affairs, attended alongside two AU students, Obaya Ahmed Bezeid and Huraira Muzammil. Throughout the summit, a central theme emerged: success in the future will be defined by the intersection of human capability and technology. AU students Obaya and Huraira made a lasting impression, courageously addressing a room of senior leaders to share their perspectives on how higher education must evolve in the age of AI. Their call for universities to genuinely include, listen to, and engage future talent in shaping educational pathways—and to provide hands-on training at the earliest opportunity—was met with strong appreciation from attendees. Their participation exemplifies Ajman University's commitment to empowering students as active contributors to global conversations on education and workforce development.
