Smiles Beyond Borders: COD Study Tour to Malaysia
As part of the “Smiles Beyond Borders” campaign, Ajman University’s College of Dentistry (COD) organized a study tour to Malaysia, offering AU dental students a valuable academic and cultural exposure at the University of Malaya (UM).
The tour aimed to introduce students to UM’s academic environment while deepening their understanding of Malaysian culture, thereby enhancing both their educational and cross-cultural experiences. Through academic interactions and shared activities, the program promoted tolerance, mutual understanding, and collaboration in addressing common challenges within the dental profession.
The experience also encouraged community engagement and service learning, creating opportunities for sustained academic exchange and personal development. In addition, students explored potential pathways for postgraduate studies (Master’s and PhD programs) at the University of Malaya, supporting their long-term professional and academic career planning.
ضمن حملة «ابتسامات بلا حدود»، نظّمت كلية طب الأسنان في جامعة عجمان جولة دراسية إلى ماليزيا، هدفت إلى توفير تجربة أكاديمية وثقافية مميزة لطلبة الكلية من خلال زيارة جامعة مالايا (University of Malaya).
سعت الجولة إلى تعريف الطلبة بالبيئة الأكاديمية في جامعة مالايا، وتعزيز فهمهم للثقافة الماليزية، مما أسهم في إثراء تجربتهم التعليمية وتنمية وعيهم الثقافي. كما ركّز البرنامج على تعزيز التسامح، والتفاهم المتبادل، وروح التعاون لمعالجة التحديات المشتركة في مجال طب الأسنان.
وشملت التجربة جوانب من خدمة المجتمع والتعلم القائم على المشاركة، إلى جانب فتح آفاق للتبادل الأكاديمي المستدام والتطور الشخصي. كما أتيحت للطلبة فرصة استكشاف إمكانيات الدراسات العليا (الماجستير والدكتوراه) في جامعة مالايا، دعمًا لمسيرتهم المهنية والأكاديمية المستقبلية.
